當局也說，活躍通勤執法人員上個月共發現32起違例個案，並扣押了14輛違規的活躍通勤工具。
在其中一起個案中，當局同全國配送人員協會合作，查獲一名使用車牌被遮擋的電動腳踏車的騎士。
在另一起行動中，有兩名騎士被發現使用了偽造的車牌。
當局提醒公眾，使用假車牌是違法的。初犯者可被判罰款多達5000元或坐牢長達12個月，或兩者兼施。
In April, our #AMEOs detected 32 offences and impounded 14 non-compliant Active Mobility (AM) devices during various enforcement operations around Singapore. We』ve observed an increase in offences involving obscured, improper, or false number plates on Power-Assisted Bicycles (PAB) from 2023 to 2024. Working with NDCA - National Delivery Champions Association, we recently apprehended a rider with an obscured PAB number plate. In a separate operation, we also caught two others using false number plates. #Reminder First-time offenders caught using false number plates may face fines of up to $5,000 and/or 12 months』 imprisonment. Some riders have reported possible fraudulent use of their PAB plate numbers.
