副總理兼財政部長黃循財說，冠病疫情和俄烏戰爭等國際大事深深影響著包括新加坡在內的每個國家，前進道路固然崎嶇不平，但只要國人保持互相信任，一定可以共同克服困難，攜手邁向更強大的新加坡。 

日前在印度尼西亞出席二十國集團（G20）第三次財政部長和中央銀行行長會議的黃循財今天（17日）在社交媒體Facebook上發帖文表示，國際重大事件如2019冠病疫情、烏克蘭戰爭對世界各國帶來了各方面的巨大衝擊，經濟、能源和食品價格、持續升溫的地緣政治緊張局勢和維持了幾十年的多邊體系被削弱等。 

黃循財說，對新加坡而言，能在G20這類大型國際經濟論壇占有一席至關重要，「當世界大國在討論全球課題時，世界可以聽到我們的聲音，這有助新加坡和其他國家建立更強大的聯繫，加深對彼此的了解。」

黃循財指出，有了高度協調的全球反應，就能致力於解決這個時代最迫切的課題。

黃循財還在帖文中表示，當他出席這些活動時，總會不斷提醒自己為何會出席，為何要在社交媒體上分享他所做的、所說的，「當然離不開新加坡人，我們作為小而開放的國家，容易受到國際重大事件的影響，所以在國際舞台上發聲至關重要，而對人民保持信心，彼此互相信任，努力促進我國在國際層面的利益。」

最後，黃循財說，在全球環境中發展的道路崎嶇不平，也將會遇到更多衝擊和暴風雨，但「我知道，只要繼續抱有信心，對彼此保持信任，我們一定可以共同度過，攜手邁向更強大的新加坡。」

All countries, including Singapore, are being hit by big shocks - Covid-19; the Ukraine war and its impact on the economy and prices, especially for energy and food; as well as rising geopolitical tensions and the erosion of the rules-based multilateral system that has served us well for so many decades. For Singapore, having a seat at a forum like the #G20 is important. It allows us to have our voice heard when the world's largest economies discuss global matters. It helps us build stronger ties with our counterparts, so we understand each other better. And with a strongly coordinated global response, we can work towards solving the most pressing issues of our time. When I attend these fora, I always keep in mind why I am here, and why I update everyone on what I do - on social media and more. It must always be for Singaporeans. As a small and open nation, we feel the impact of major global moves deeply. So it is important that we have a voice. And it is important that we keep faith with our people, and work to advance Singapore's interests on an international level. The journey ahead in the global environment will be bumpy. There will be more shocks and stormy weather. But I know that by keeping the faith, and having trust in each other, we can sail through together - a stronger Singapore.
