New Freshmen Welcomed at NIM Campus

NIM新生歡迎會開始啦

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) welcomed a diverse group of freshmen hailing from China, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, and various parts of the globe. The day commenced with a gracious welcome extended by NIM’s esteemed President, Dr. Zhang Xu Wei. With enthusiasm, Dr. Zhang introduced the incoming students to our state-of-the-art campus facilities and inspired them to embrace a well-rounded and enriching campus experience. The students were also provided with a brief overview of NIM’s various departments, offering them designated points of contact for any assistance they might require during their academic endeavors.

新加坡南洋管理學院（NIM）迎來了來自中國、印度、緬甸、越南以及世界各地的新生到校。新生歡迎會開始，南洋管理學院校長張旭偉博士首先對同學們表示了熱烈歡迎。

他滿懷熱情地向即將入學的新生們介紹了NIM最先進的校園設施，並激勵他們用更積極、開放的心態迎接全面豐富的校園體驗。還為大家簡要介紹了NIM的各個教學、服務部門，並為同學們提供了指定的聯繫點，以便大家在學習過程中，可以在任何時候獲得幫助。

Following the welcome address, the newcomers were given a comprehensive tour of NIM’s schools, including the School of Business, School of Early Childhood Education, School of Engineering, School of Language, School of Logistics, and School of Tourism & Hospitality. They interacted with academic staff, student services personnel, and student council members, gaining valuable insights into their academic journey ahead.

歡迎致辭後，新生們參觀了NIM的整體校園環境，包括商學院、學前教育學院、工程學院、語言學院、物流學院和旅遊與酒店管理學院。

他們與學術人員、學生服務人員和學生會成員進行了交流互動，這對他們未來的學術之旅提供了寶貴的經驗和見解。

After lunch, the new students enthusiastically participated in the first ever NIM Vlogging Race. Arranged into random groups and under the guidance of the student council team, these students embarked on an exploration of diverse landmarks within the centrally situated campus. This activity served as more than a mere exercise in teamwork; it offered an immersive experience, enriching their comprehension of Singapore’s cultural and geographical intricacies.

午飯後，新生們參加了在NIM的第一次趣味活動。新生們隨機分組，在學生會團隊的指導下，開始探索位於校園內的各種地標。

這項活動不僅僅是一次團隊合作的鍛鍊；它也為新生們提供了身臨其境的體驗，幫助他們更快的了解學校，和豐富他們對新加坡文化、地理複雜性的理解和認識。

The day was filled with excitement and camaraderie, setting a positive tone for the upcoming term. NIM eagerly anticipates the academic adventures and accomplishments that these bright young minds will bring to the campus. Here’s to a promising start and a fruitful academic journey！
