电动脚踏车车牌违规个案 过去两年呈增加趋势

陆路交通管理局发现，同电动脚踏车车牌相关的违例个案在过去两年有增加的趋势。

陆交局在社交网站Facebook贴文说，这些违例行为包括：使用伪造的车牌、车牌被遮挡或安装不当等。

当局也说，活跃通勤执法人员上个月共发现32起违例个案，并扣押了14辆违规的活跃通勤工具。

在其中一起个案中，当局同全国配送人员协会合作，查获一名使用车牌被遮挡的电动脚踏车的骑士。

在另一起行动中，有两名骑士被发现使用了伪造的车牌。

当局提醒公众，使用假车牌是违法的。初犯者可被判罚款多达5000元或坐牢长达12个月，或两者兼施。

In April, our #AMEOs detected 32 offences and impounded 14 non-compliant Active Mobility (AM) devices during various enforcement operations around Singapore. We’ve observed an increase in offences involving obscured, improper, or false number plates on Power-Assisted Bicycles (PAB) from 2023 to 2024.
