- Manage ur time, revise consistently, don’t wait until a week before ur exams.

- ALL exams contribute to ur grade (even if ur teachers say they don’t), THEY DO. every test, every exam u take, even if it’s a small class test, is all part of your predicted grade which is what u will use to apply to universities .

- The first year of IB is pretty chill, it starts to hit in the second year so don’t be complacent.

- Don’t take notes in class, it’s a waste of time. however, u should actually listen and try to process the information being taught, don’t sleep, don’t slack. if u don’t understand anything, ASK ur teacher right away. don’t wait because it will only get worse.

- In terms of learning, active recalling is the best. whereby u test urself rather than just memorising. for example, flash cards (i added mine in the google drive). use them, if u don’t remember, try to recall and you’ll get the hang of it.

- Everything u do in the IB counts, ur IAs ur EEs are all very important.

-Also don’t focus too much on workbooks, do past papers (ive added them in the drive as well) because the IB likes to reuse the quesyions (not exactly reuse but they use the same concepts).

关于IB你要知道的事

IB的宗旨是提供终身教育，目前IB教育共可被分为四个阶段。

• 小学教育(Primary Years Program)即PYP;

• 中学教育(Middle Years Program)即MYP;

• 高中教育(Diploma Program)即DP;

• 职业教育(Career-related Program)即CRP。

而我们口头上经常提到的IB，一般指的是高中阶段的教育，也就是为期两年的IBDP项目。

IB总共需要选修6门课程，其中3门是核心课程，另外3门为选修课。除此之外，还有一门课，叫做知识论。所以相当于一共有7节课。

为了毕业，同学们必须通过所有科目的考试，为每个科目写一篇IA论文（相当于小论文），一篇EE扩展论文（4000字的大论文）一个类似课外活动，要求创意+行动+服务三个维度的CAS等等。

主要的科目要看你的学校提供什么，一般而言是以下几科（对于文科，你可以用下方任何一门科目来代替。）

-英语(语言及文学或文学)

-数学(机管局或人工智能)

-理学(生物/物理/化学/理学)

-移民归化局（商业/心理学等）

-语言习得(普通话/西班牙语等)

-艺术(音乐/电影/视觉艺术)
