國家發展部長李智陞宣布這個消息時說，其他擬議被列為保留建築的包括：前馬來亞皇家海軍行政樓、裕廊山瞭望塔、武吉知馬馬城的看台，以及新加坡羽毛球館。
市建局的文告說，當局將建議把達哥打彎的六座組屋列為保留建築，那一帶的鴿子造型遊樂場也將獲得保留，它們將成為喚醒居民社區記憶的地標。
至於武吉知馬馬城，市建局將建議保留北側和南側看台，因為它們是記載新加坡賽馬活動發展的具體建築，同時也反映了我國從殖民地時期到獨立後的歷程。相關機構也會繼續探討保留或變更馬城另外25棟建築和架構的可能性，並會適時公布更多詳情。
另外，考慮到前馬來亞皇家海軍基地的歷史重要性，市建局將建議保留三層樓高的行政樓，並正在研究這棟建築可充作哪些新用途，以配合建屋局在那一帶的「叢林住宅」（Housing in the Woods）發展計劃。各機構和利益相關群體也在探討以創新的方式紀念這個地點的歷史，例如在未來發展項目的設計中，融入相關特色。
市建局將在今年較遲時候舉辦的2025年發展總藍圖草案展覽中，介紹五個地點的相關保留計劃，同時公布有關我國建築遺產的更多計劃。
