楊榮文昨天（2日）在Facebook發布帖文分享他和妻子梁利平同黃國松和其未婚妻劉以真用餐的照片，並形容黃國松為「老朋友」和「同事」。
他寫道：「我早前告訴他，我不會參與來屆總統選舉的競選活動，但若能為他做推薦是我的榮幸。」
楊榮文和新加坡政府投資公司（GIC）前首席投資官黃國松都曾在財政部任職；楊榮文曾在財政部擔任政務部長，而黃國松則在財政部擔任海外投資分析師。
